What's the "word on the street?" Who can say when the "street" is a virtual
continuum, not a geographic one? The "street" is distributed far and wide.
A weblogoscope is an attempt to reckon with that.
I'm not sure if there's a blog science, perhaps it's being collectively
invented right now.
This is an excercise in linking together blogs by topic. As publishes occur
on topic-focused blogs, the headlines and lead-in excerpts may be
representative of "the word on the street."
